NYC Regional Law Firm Selects ITSG for Conversion The law firm's existing system was based on IBM's proprietary AS400 OfficeVision data-merge software, which was being eliminated from the vendor's inventory with the new AS400 5.1 operating system release. ITSG was contacted to help the firm move from the old to the new. ITSG converted all 1000+ OfficeVision documents to Microsoft Word, we replaced IBM OfficeVision with ITP's superior document generation and routing software. We then integrated the new system with the existing property closing system. Which, from the user' point of view--never changed. The solution was comprised of a conversion of IBM Document Library Objects (DLOs) into Microsoft Word documents. The MS Word documents contained all the pre-developed IBM DLO logic, which is automatically converted to ITP-based logic. The documents were then integrated with ITP Server, which includes a document generation and routing engine to distribute the resulting MS Word documents to print, email, or to a browser.
